In recognition of Veterans Day, we at the National Archives thank all of our nations veterans for their bravery, dedication, and sacrifice in service to our country. We also thank the hundreds of veterans among our staff and those who help veterans daily by fulfilling their requests for service records. The National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) is one of the National Archives’ largest operations. NPRC employees track thousands of requests from veterans and their families for records that will help them obtain access to benefits and services. Their mission is to provide world class service to government agencies, military veterans and their family members, former civilian Federal employees, and the general public. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is honored to partner with the Grunt Style Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to providing life-changing resources for veterans, service members and their families, to raise awareness about the mental health needs of veterans, with a focus on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and promoting alternative treatment methods.
