🌎 🧠 Today, on World Mental Health Day and National Depression Screening Day, we're reminded of the critical role that mental health screening plays in our communities. At Videra Health, screening for mental health conditions is in our DNA. We believe that screening is the first step to a clinician's diagnosis, which then leads to the necessary resources and care that can transform lives. 📢  In our efforts to help to further advance mental health screenings, we recently launched TDscreen.ai, specifically for the often overlooked and debilitating condition, Tardive Dyskinesia. This simple tool is designed to increase awareness and provide easy access to individuals and help them take the first step toward diagnosis and treatment. SAMHSA's 2023 data on substance use disorders reveals a pressing need for innovation in treatment. While 17.1% of Americans struggle with these issues, only 23% of those in need receive help. The silver lining? Technology can bridge this gap. Remote monitoring, digital health solutions, and video-based interventions offer a lifeline, especially considering the popularity of telehealth treatments. Video prompts, like what we use in Videra Health, are revolutionizing how we approach substance use disorders. These AI-analyzed video check-ins provide valuable insights into patients' emotional states and progress, enabling more personalized and timely care. With 94.7% of adults with SUD not recognizing their need for help, tech-enabled early intervention is crucial.
