Each Village Capital program convenes a unique Advisory Board, and the group is instrumental in every phase of the program. We select founders, investors, and other subject matter experts to become Advisory Board members for the duration of a given program. They provide so much value for our programs, from helping us amplify our call for applications to providing feedback during the cohort selection process and actively mentoring cohort companies. The Innovations in Health LatAm program is no exception. This Advisory Board is composed of experts with backgrounds in entrepreneurship, investment and VC firms, healthcare and health tech organizations, academic and research institutions, and business associations – hailing from the US, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. Thanks to funding from Johnson & Johnson Foundation, the program is supporting 10 startups working to enhance healthcare access and quality in Latin America. 🥁 Drum roll please, introducing..... our first Sage Impact Entrepreneurship cohort. Sage Foundation will be supporting 56 purpose-driven #entrepreneurs with grants, mentorship and so much more with our partner Village Capital. Each entrepreneur and business has their own story to tell and we will be spotlighting these incredible humans who are driven to change the world for the better 🌍 It's been a privilege to work on this program, led by Sara Reed, and to dream about the #impact we can bring to life with our cohort. The excitement has been building as we've been able to review our entrepreneur applications, meet some in person, and facilitate some two-way learning in our first mentor sessions. The selection process was a wild, and very enjoyable, ride of learning so much about previously unknown (to me) #sustainability solutions which are tackling the issues of today and tomorrow on behalf of communities. People drive action - demonstrated by our incredible first cohort who you can read more about here. 👇 https://shorturl.at/RGlex Stay tuned....there is so much more to come 💥 Sara Reed Amy Lawson Surinder Sond David Simpson Rudo Mutambiranwa Fanny Laguna Village Capital Derk Bleeker Paul Struthers Arnaud PETIT Mark Hickman Walid Abu-Hadba Sage Foundation Sage
