Vincentian is a not-for-profit health care and human services organization that has been serving Pittsburghers of all ages for nearly 100 years. Sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, these ministries offer a continuum of care for more than 500 seniors, including independent living, personal care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing. Vincentian also operates two independent living communities in the North Hills, a charitable foundation, and two childcare centers. This week, and every week, we say thank you to the nurses at Vincentian Home, Vincentian Marian Manor, Vincentian Home Personal Care and Memory Lane, Vincentian Schenley Gardens and everywhere. Nurses are truly constantly learning, growing and evolving their profession to meet the needs of a diverse and changing society. As Florence Nightingale once said "Nursing is a progressive art such that to stand still is to go backward.” We know Vincentian nurses are always moving forward! Thank you again for all you do!
