We recognize that we occupy land originally and still inhabited and cared for by indigenous people. We are honored and grateful to live and work on these ancestral lands. Today is World Mental Health Day! And this year’s theme is “Mental Health at Work” so we're highlighting our team at Adventist Health White Memorial, where Wellnest offers the Integrated Service Management Program: Mind, Body, and Heart. This program combines support for mental and physical health through a holistic model of care. It allows participants to access comprehensive healthcare services in one location, often on the same day. Participants can also take advantage of “non-traditional” wellness offerings, such as yoga, stress relief, art classes, and cooking sessions. Wellnest employees understand that a healthy state of well-being should address the whole person, including both the body and mind! On Thursday September 12th , to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, AltaMed, City Club and Wellnest partnered to bring a curated art exhibit of the AltaMed Art Collection, one of the largest Chicano art collections in the world. This collection captures the essence of Latino culture through powerful and thought-provoking art. Thank you to the generosity of Cástulo de la Rocha and Zoila Escobar of AltaMed and its Foundation for loaning the unique artwork for the exhibit. Proceeds from ticket sales for the event benefited the University of California Santa Barbara - Ismael “Mayo” de la Rocha Scholarship Fund, ensuring the spirit of Professor de la Rocha will remain ever present! #Wellnest #AltaMedArtCollection #CityClubLA #HispanicHeritageMonth #UCSB UC Santa Barbara
