We're putting the finishing touches on the Residences at Mill 8 for WinnCompanies, the adaptive reuse of a historic mill that boasts an iconic, colossal clocktower. Our renovation of this sprawling building will create an affordable community with 95 apartments for adults aged 55 and over. When completed, this modern-industrial complex will feature a wide range of amenities and an Adult Day Health Center provided by Renaissance Medical Group. The scaffolding around the clocktower, with its tiny workers, really highlights the structure's immense scale! Check out this striking focal point and the rest of our progress as we and our partners approach the finish line. ➡️ Learn more about this project: https://bit.ly/3EhWuKW #Architect: The Architectural Team Credit to our very own Joe Yee for reminding us to appreciate just how incredible the size of this clocktower is!

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has signed into law the Affordable Homes Act to support the production, preservation and rehabilitation of more than 65,000 owned and rental homes across the Commonwealth over the next five years, authorizing $5.16 billion in spending along with 49 policy initiatives to counter rising housing costs caused by high demand and limited supply. WinnCompanies CEO Gilbert Winn was among the housing leaders offering his support for the legislation, the largest housing bill ever enacted in Massachusetts, “The groundbreaking Affordable Homes Act will have an immediate impact on the Commonwealth’s housing needs by unleashing numerous affordable and mixed-income projects that had been awaiting adequate resources to move into construction. It will deliver a tangible boost to our state’s competitiveness and quality of life," Winn said. "We’re very fortunate to have the Healey-Driscoll Administration and a Legislature willing to commit tremendous resources to well-designed programs that match urgency of the moment. Celebrated annually, National Night Out (NNO) is held each summer to strengthen community ties and enhance the relationships between neighbors and their local law enforcement. Marking the 25th anniversary of its first NNO event, the Castle Square Tenants Organization (CSTO) hosted its annual event last week as part of Boston’s 2-day festivities. Residents and their families were treated to music, carnival activities, food, and a raffle. In addition to attendance by WinnCompanies leadership, including Arthur Winn, Gilbert Winn and Larry Curtis, the community welcomed Mayor Wu, City Council President Flynn, and City Councilor Murphy at its annual celebration. Big thank you to the CSTO leadership for their work in hosting and setting up the CSTO event, including Deborah Backus, Ann Moy and Vivian Lee!
