🛠 "Fix It! Don't Pitch It!" Recap 🛠 On September 7th, we teamed up with the City of Winter Park’s Natural Resources & Sustainability Department for an incredible event that proved our community is serious about sustainability! 💪🌱 At this year’s "Fix It! Don’t Pitch It!" workshop, our amazing volunteers worked their magic, repairing everything from clothing and small appliances to furniture, electronics, and even jewelry. It wasn’t just about fixing stuff — it was about embracing the spirit of reduce, reuse, and recycle to make a tangible difference in our community. By the end of the day, we diverted a whopping 133 lbs. of waste from landfills! 🌍🙌 How awesome is that? Big thanks to our volunteers for making this event a success and helping Winter Park stay green. If you're feeling inspired and want to get involved in future sustainability projects, don’t miss our Community Volunteer Fair on Oct 3rd from 3-5 PM! It's the perfect opportunity to find more ways to make a difference.
