Join the WEC Sisterhood for our March luncheon, where we'll hear from Arlene Blake, a prominent entrepreneur, sales leader, and founder of Women on the Rise International, Inc., which empowers women through career advancement. In 2024, she secured a major investment for a program aimed at helping women build impactful careers. Arlene's accolades include recognition in the Legacy of Excellence Exhibit, the Rising Star Award from the Citrus Club, and being named a 'Woman Who Means Business' by the Orlando Business Journal. A Leadership Orlando alumna, Arlene was honored as 2022's 'Woman of the Year' by Orange Appeal Magazine. As a sought-after speaker, she focuses on empowering women to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

We unite professional women by creating opportunities to inspire women leaders and students to serve Central Florida
About us
We are a diverse group of women from various life experiences and backgrounds, dedicated to the mission of inspiring women. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Citrus Club for Council Luncheons where we hear from dynamic speakers and conduct organizational business. Throughout the year, we raise money through partnerships with individuals and organizations who support women and education. The Women’s Executive Council leads our 1972 Society members to assist scholars in completing their education. These efforts culminate with our Women’s Achievement Awards Gala where we honor and award outstanding women in Central Florida. Since 1987, we have given over $500,000 in scholarships to women attending Central Florida universities. Along with our fund-raising efforts, we like to network and socialize. Join us each month as we get together at various social outings throughout our community and strengthen the sisterhood of our organization. Visit our website at: www.wecOrlando.com for more information about our organization and sponsored events. Please contact our Membership Chair at Membership@wecOrlando.com to answer any questions.
