Tribute to a leader who built a nation, not just a company. If you haven’t yet shed a tear for this incredible human, you surely will. It feels like a personal loss, and it's an immense loss for the world. Mr. Ratan Tata, you will be deeply missed. I had the privilege of meeting him during a project with the Tata Cancer Institute in Mumbai, and his humility and heart-centered leadership left a lasting impression on me. At the time, I was junior in my role and didn’t dare to speak to him directly, but he graciously allowed me to share my work with senior members. It was one of the most transformative moments of my career. From that experience, I learned how influence, when wielded responsibly, can make business a force for good—creating wealth not only in economic terms but also in social capital, human potential, and societal progress. Mr. Tata’s legacy isn’t measured in profits, but in the lives he touched and the opportunities he created. He built not just a company, but a nation. His vision and compassion will continue to inspire generations.
