Types of HR-driven strategies. They are complementary but not the same. Some of these strategies may seem similar, and it might feel like it’s just a matter of wording. However, each strategy focuses on distinct yet interdependent outcomes. Here are the fundamental questions that each type of strategy helps answer: 1️⃣ HR Strategy How should HR operate to best support the organization? 2️⃣ People Strategy How do we ensure our people are equipped and aligned with our goals? 3️⃣ Talent Strategy What talent mix and skills do we need, and how do we get them? 4️⃣ Talent Management Strategy What HR programs do we need to focus on, and how? 5️⃣ Workforce Strategy What workforce composition will drive success in the long term? 6️⃣ Organizational Development Strategy How should we design and grow our organization for optimal effectiveness? 7️⃣ Employee Experience Strategy How can we optimize the entire employee journey for maximum impact? 8️⃣ Employee Engagement Strategy How do we keep employees motivated and engaged in their roles? 9️⃣ Specific Program Strategy What are the goals and plans for each core HR program? We have developed structured guidance based on proven practices to help organizations answer these questions. 👉🏽 Sign up for free to explore these resources at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge. ⤷ We are making strategic HR accessible to any organization, regardless of size, stage, or expertise level, with: ✔ A scalable system of best practices » wowledge.com/catalog ✔ An intelligent HR roadmapping tool » wowledge.com/roadmap ✔ A seasoned community of experts » wowledge.com/about ✔ Affordable year-round memberships » wowledge.com/pricing

The HR Manager Success Profile. What is needed to be successful in this role? It requires a complex mix of operational mastery and people-centric skills, which keep the HR function efficient and forward-thinking. Today’s HR Managers combine transactional expertise with a transformational mindset. They ensure compliance, drive employee engagement, and position HR as an organization's enabler for impact. As HR continues to evolve, so do the expectations and standards for success in this role. The "Success Profile" looks beyond the job description with a list of job duties. It is a tool for steering recruitment, growth, and future top-leadership role transitions. Here’s what the HR Manager's profile includes: 1️⃣ Core Competencies: Mastering essential operational and administrative functions to ensure day-to-day HR effectiveness. 2️⃣ Advanced Competencies: Building collaboration, leveraging data, and aligning HR policies to support larger business objectives. 3️⃣ Emerging Competencies: Leading across generations, adopting agile HR practices, and supporting employee well-being with forward-thinking approaches. The attached infographic details the skills, experiences, and qualifications that define a high-performing HR Manager. It also references the potential career moves that would help gain holistic experiences and continue to learn. For organizations looking to drive impactful HR practices, having a clear Success Profile helps attract and develop the right talent for this critical role. 👉🏽 For more insights and tools to shape impactful HR roles, sign up for free at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.

The business and HR are working toward similar goals—just speaking different languages. The infographic highlights the top priorities that CEOs and CHROs have flagged as critical now and into 2025. They are included in reports from leading consulting and research firms that survey top executives. While there's plenty of overlap between business and HR priorities, direct mapping alone isn’t actionable. What drives transformation is identifying the strategic HR programs that support each priority—and implementing them. That’s the view the infographic offers. Of course, every organization has its unique language, context, and goals. This analysis provides a preliminary framework, but tailoring is essential. We’ve developed an intelligent tool that creates a custom strategic HR roadmap based on each organization’s unique profile. The tool considers critical variables for addressing top organizational challenges. More importantly, it provides the specific HR practices within these programs tailored to each organization's level of sophistication. It’s a great place to start preparing for 2025. The tool is available to anyone on our site. 👉🏽 Create a Free account to get started at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.

How do Total Compensation practices help solve critical business and talent challenges? Not on their own. Without the right compensation strategy, organizations risk losing top talent and falling behind competitors. Total Compensation practices address these challenges head-on by aligning compensation with business strategy and empowering employees to stay engaged, motivated, and high-performing. But the real magic happens when Total Compensation works alongside other HR programs. The attached infographic outlines a roadmap of practices designed to help tackle critical challenges like attracting and retaining talent or aligning with business goals. Still, the right combination of practices will differ for each organization since there are many other aspects to consider. That's why, beyond this analysis, we’ve developed an intelligent tool that creates a custom strategic HR roadmap based on each organization’s unique profile. This dynamic tool considers other critical variables for solving these top challenges and many others. It is available to anyone at our site. 👉🏽 Create a Free account to get started at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.

Pay inequality is costing organizations more than they realize. Unchecked, it damages trust, culture, and even productivity. A pay equity analysis can help companies address these disparities head-on and ensure fair compensation. It supports identifying hidden pay gaps and ensuring pay decisions are based on objective criteria, without bias of age, gender, race, or other factors. Beyond compliance, this analysis promotes a culture of fairness, prevents discrimination, and ultimately strengthens employee engagement and retention. Here are the key stages for engaging in this process. Stage 1: Employee Data Gathering 1️⃣ Gather all relevant employee information to establish a full and accurate overview for analysis. 2️⃣ Review and standardize the data to confirm it is reliable for further examination. 3️⃣ Conduct an initial analysis to spot any apparent pay discrepancies that need deeper investigation. Stage 2: Statistical Model Analysis 4️⃣ Choose appropriate tools to conduct an in-depth analysis of pay differences across the organization. 5️⃣ Use statistical models to assess pay equity among various employee groups based on demographics. 6️⃣ Focus on significant pay gaps that require immediate attention and action. Stage 3: Equity Action Planning 7️⃣ Create a specific plan outlining pay adjustments and necessary steps to address the identified gaps. 8️⃣ Obtain approvals and inform all relevant stakeholders about the equity action plan and its intended impact. 9️⃣ Implement the changes and regularly review outcomes to ensure ongoing pay equity. Detailed guidance for performing equity analysis is available on our platform. 👉🏽 Sign up to explore more at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.

Historians believe Ancient Egypt was the first civilization to provide its workforce with variable compensation. But what worked for pharaohs won't cut it today. A well-designed total compensation strategy can do so much more. It should offer the right mix of base pay, variable compensation, and recognition that keeps employees motivated and aligned with business goals. To drive outperformance, reward excellence, and foster engagement. However, every organization is at a different stage on this journey and pursuing its own aspiration. That's why our practices are designed to meet each organization and individual responsible for implementing this program where they are. Here are some of the essential tools needed at different levels: 1️⃣ RACIS Matrix—define role assignments and approval requirements across key process activities. 2️⃣ Job Description—clarify purpose, responsibilities, expected outcomes, and overall requirements to assess any position appropriately. 3️⃣ Total Compensation Statement—outline and present the major components and financial value of an employee’s pay and benefits. 4️⃣ Merit Matrix—enable managers to differentiate performance-driven raises while maintaining equity and fairness in pay reviews. 5️⃣ Sales Compensation Plan Pay Mix Assessment—determine the most appropriate pay mix based on sales-tailored criteria. 6️⃣ Interpolation Calculator—calculate blended variable pay incentives based on combined achievement levels of different KPIs. 👉🏽 Get started by creating a free account at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.

I spent more than a decade at Deloitte working with many others reinventing performance management. Despite all the hype during those years, the actual impact has remained small. Much was discussed about making the process more constructive and fluid. We went back and forth on performance ratings and many other aspects of the process. As a profession, we collectively landed in at least... ⤷ Increasing the frequency of feedback and check-ins ⤷ Making goal alignment and goal setting more dynamic  ⤷ Incorporating data-driven performance insights ⤷ Enabling employee-led development conversations  ⤷ Focusing on employee engagement and well-being But today's reality? 1️⃣ Ineffective performance management processes continue to abound 77% of HR leaders believe performance evaluations fail to accurately measure performance, with only 6% of companies finding their processes effective. 2️⃣ Employee feedback is equally dismal Just 14% of employees feel their reviews inspire improvement, and 62% report being blindsided by performance feedback. 3️⃣ Performance management approaches seem to be anchored in past practices Despite available technology, 58% of companies still use spreadsheets to track performance, missing opportunities to reduce bias and automate insights. 4️⃣ Frequent performance interactions are still novel Nearly 70% of companies stick to annual or semi-annual reviews, while employees overwhelmingly prefer more frequent, real-time feedback and coaching. 5️⃣ Goal-setting practices still represent a process weakness Only 52% of organizations have a formal goal-setting process, and just 56% of employees review their performance goals once a year or less with their manager. We don't need to reinvent the wheel now. We just need to follow through on what clearly works and support business and employee growth. The best practices, step-by-step guidance, and tools are available on our platform. They have been created to meet each organization where they are, even when starting from scratch. 👉🏽 Sign up for Free to explore more at Wowledge.com ~~~ Click Carlos Larracilla and follow me [+🔔] for daily resources from Wowledge.
