🇬🇧 Nesta's newly published "Health and Social Care: The Ideas" report shares 8 areas policymakers will need to confront, make and implement in coming years as part of the UK 2040 Options policy project. The 8 ideas explored in this report by NESTA and the Behavioural Insights Team of experts including John Tench, UK Managing Director at Wysa and Nicole Main, UK Clinical Lead at Wysa include: 1️⃣💡 Make NHS staff wellbeing a strategic priority: improving data collection and transparency, testing wellbeing interventions, and scaling the ones that work. 2️⃣💡 Pave the way for an AI health revolution: standardising patient records, and establishing a new National Data Trust. 3️⃣💡 Ramp up the use of digital mental health services: through expanding access to, and effectiveness of, internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (eCBT) and other digital tools. Worryingly, Wysa's research found that 1 in 3 teens look to social media platform TikTok for tips and advice on their mental health.
