It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of fall spirit. We love seeing the smiles on their faces as they express themselves through art and enjoy seasonal activities that create lasting memories. Our HEARTH Beyond program is dedicated to supporting youth ages 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness by providing them with a safe place to live while they pursue their educational and professional goals. 🌟 Youth Focus collaborates with local landlords to secure safe, affordable housing with leases in the youth's name. This approach offers two crucial benefits: 1️⃣ Establishment of Rental History: This helps youth build a positive rental history, which is vital for future housing stability. 2️⃣ Long-Term Housing: Once they complete the program, they can remain in their home, providing continuity and stability. Throughout their time in HEARTH Beyond, Youth Focus offers the necessary rent assistance while encouraging participants to take on increasing financial responsibility until they can sustain their rent independently. In addition to housing support, our program provides vocational and educational resources, along with targeted case management, to help these young adults develop essential independent living skills. Our ultimate goal is to ensure their long-term success after graduation from the program. Together, we can empower these youth to achieve their dreams and secure a brighter future! 💪❤️ Visit us online for more information 👉 https://bit.ly/3XW3re4 #YouthFocus #HEARTHBeyond #SupportYouth #EndHomelessness #IndependentLiving

We are so excited to share our recent connection with the amazing team at the Spartan Pantry, run by the Campus Ministry of Wesley-Luther at UNCG! It was inspiring to meet the dedicated students who work hard to provide crucial resources for their peers facing food insecurity. Together, we discussed how we can support students who are unstably housed and began planning for the 2025 Youth Point In Time Count! Wesley-Luther's founding of the Spartan Open Pantry has made such a difference, offering support to students and staff in need—from those who need a little help at the end of the month to those who rely on the pantry for complete support. We are so grateful for their partnership and the incredible work they do in our community!

Our HEARTH program offers supervised housing for male and female youth ages 18-21 for up to 18 months. This vital initiative provides a safe space where young individuals can focus on their future without the burden of living expenses. While in the program, youth set personalized goals tailored to their unique situations, allowing them to transition to stable housing successfully. Goals often include obtaining a high school diploma or college degree, receiving vocational training for employment, and developing permanent connections with caring adults. They also work on improving their social-emotional well-being. Participants gain essential life skills, including conflict resolution, money management, meal planning, and goal setting. The program is designed with a dormitory-style layout, featuring clustered apartments leased by Youth Focus. Here, two youth share a two-bedroom apartment, while a dedicated apartment serves as the staff office and a common gathering space for all participants. Located in High Point, NC, the HEARTH program allows youth to enjoy a degree of independence while having supportive staff nearby to guide them as they learn and practice independent living skills. This program is especially beneficial for homeless youth and those who have aged out of the foster care system, offering them the support they need to thrive. Together, we can help these young adults build a brighter future! 🌟 Learn more about HEARTH 👉 https://bit.ly/3AyyjqJ #YouthFocus #HEARTH #TransitionalLiving #SupportYouth #IndependentLiving
