During our annual Purpose Month in July, we are proud of our teams across the globe who are doing their part to nurture the world and humankind by advancing care for animals. This week we're spotlighting our Diagnostics Team in Northern UK that spent the day volunteering at #Stablelife, an Equine Facilitated Wellness Centre dedicated to supporting young people through nurturing interactions with horses and ponies. The team learned about the amazing charity work that Stablelife does to help children of all ages escape from troubles and challenges. To celebrate #NationalInternDay, we asked Zoetis interns across the U.S: what does an internship mean to you? Our interns shared their experiences in a summer photo competition that showcased how they are developing their careers and living their purpose at Zoetis.    Throughout Saida Zinnurine, DVM’s internship she has been building her career by engaging with her team and sharing scientific knowledge to kickstart her professional journey.    Hailey C. is living out our annual Purpose Month by supporting the community and donating to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary’s Senior Paw Project, which provides pet food and supplies to seniors who are struggling to keep or care for their beloved animals.    Seoha Yoo and Jonathon Abel are showcasing the meaningful connections they built this summer with their dedicated team supporting them along the way.    Thank you to all of our interns for your impactful work across Zoetis!

For the third year, the Zoetis Foundation has partnered with the Talent, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team for the Colleague Resource Group (CRG) Philanthropy Grants Program. This initiative invites our nine CRGs to propose organizations to benefit from Zoetis Foundation funding for causes meaningful to them. Our African Livestock Productivity & Health Advancement (A.L.P.H.A.) Plus initiative is positively impacting livestock health in Sub-Saharan Africa. In the last year, we partnered with nine local laboratories to increase diagnostic services and supply treatment and preventative care to over 65 million livestock animals. Sub-Saharan Africa has some of the highest human population growth rates in the world. Healthy livestock are essential to achieving food security. Our African Livestock Productivity & Health Advancement (A.L.P.H.A.) Plus initiative has made progress in helping to establish sustainable veterinary care in Sub-Saharan Africa. Integrating innovative solutions can help improve livestock health and productivity in countries where population growth and the need for food security, employment opportunities and economic support are greatest. The initiative is expanding its focus from poultry to dairy and beef cattle, with opportunities to work with smallholder farmers and aquaculture, a growing opportunity in major lakes in Sub-Saharan Africa. July is Purpose Month at Zoetis, a time where we celebrate our commitment to nurturing the world and humankind by advancing care for animals. Throughout this special month, we're spotlighting colleagues worldwide who are making a difference through volunteer work and supporting their communities. This week we’re recognizing our Virtual Recall colleagues in the U.K. who recently volunteered at the Celia Cross Greyhound Trust. This non-profit organization rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes around 200 dogs annually, many of which have been abandoned, or are sick or mistreated. Our team pitched in with cleaning, gardening, grooming and lots of laundry – with cuddles and walks along the way, too. 🐾 Thank you to our colleagues, who make the difference every day. #ZoetisMeansPurpose #ZoetisProud #Volunteering
