Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join us as a Customer Success Team Lead. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring and optimizing overall customer satisfaction and success through effective management and leadership of a team of customer success consultants and business growth coaches. We are looking for someone with a profound understanding of assisting entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses, whether they are just starting out or seeking further expansion.

Your Opportunity

As a Customer Success Team Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a personal portfolio of clients, including delivery, renewals, and upsells
  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities and performance of a team of customer success managers and growth coaches
  • Conducting daily team calls and weekly one-on-one sessions
  • Addressing ad-hoc issues and resolutions promptly
  • Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining quality control
  • Monitoring and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team
  • Implementing process improvements and initiatives
  • Supporting in the recruitment and interview process of prospective candidates
  • Establishing and maintaining leadership and authority with clients and across the business
  • Advocating for clients' needs within internal teams
  • Facilitating effective onboarding of new clients and managing ongoing communication and support
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for customer issues and resolving them efficiently
  • Reporting insights and proposed improvements to the management team
  • Developing and executing strategies to ensure excellent results and client retention
  • Utilizing data and analytics to track and report on key customer success metrics
  • Driving quality improvements and service delivery enhancements

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an agency owner with extensive business growth consulting/coaching experience
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of client-facing experience, preferably in a marketing, consulting, or growth agency setting
  • 2+ years of experience in directly leading a customer success team or similar
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Deep understanding of assisting entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses
  • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for personal and professional growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead both team and client meetings with authority and conviction

  • You have less than 1 year of experience in consulting or coaching, or less than 5 years of mid-high level business experience

Benefits

The Pay:

  • Base salary range of $6,000 to $7,000 per month plus 10% commission on all upsells and cross-sells
  • Negotiable based on experience and track record
