Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role as a Director of Community Outreach. As the Director of Community Outreach, you will be responsible for planning and implementing community engagement initiatives, communicating with community members and stakeholders, writing press releases, organizing and attending community events, and managing budgeting for community activities. This role is located in Santa Monica, CA, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong community engagement and communication skills
• Experience in writing and distributing press releases
• Knowledge of community outreach strategies and best practices
• Ability to budget and manage resources for community activities
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Passion and commitment to serving the community
• Experience in political campaigns or community organizing is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
