Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic environmental team. This role will primarily focus on delivering environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects involving natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise various projects from routing/siting to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams on environmental studies and permit applications, including FERC Section 7(C) and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, attorneys, GIS analysts, and more.
  • Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
  • Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and industry conferences.
  • Perform field reviews and compliance inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelines.
  • Proficiency in FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (optional).

Tools And Processes

  • Proficiency in MS Project, Teams for video meetings, and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking.
  • Regular team and department meetings, along with periodic divisional meetings.

Professional Growth

Project Management

  • Oversight of 4-7 small to mid-size projects ($25k to $100k each) and 2-3 large projects ($500k+ each).
