Job Summary
An Implementation Manager is assigned to new retirement plans during the on-boarding process and is responsible for excellence in all external communications, the overall success and timeliness of their assigned plans and the work coordination amongst all interested parties until their assigned plans transition to the ongoing service team.
Responsible for managing the work environment, identifying workforce needs and ensuring alignment with corporate manager expectations, values and vision.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing an overall exceptional customer first experience to new clients/partners on-boarding plans to The Standard. Oversee all installation activities related to assigned new business plans moving to The Standard. Provide accurate and timely communication and organization to all interested parties throughout the transition process including paperwork and enrollment meetings, weekly phone calls and emails, agenda setting, meeting facilitation, preparation of meeting summary and follow up on all outstanding items related to the successful implementation of each assigned plan until transition to the on-going service team.
Responsible for the plan document and design review conversation during the paperwork meeting or via phone calls as early as possible in the process so that system set-up can be completed and enrollment materials and other deliverables can be produced. Train new clients on processes and systems including PlanNet, PRO, PSC. Provide technical assistance and on-going support and knowledge to clients and partners for how to successfully manage their new plan on the Standard’s recordkeeping system. Ultimately, set the plan up for long-term success and a smooth transition to the ongoing service team.
Work closely with paired Implementation Coordinator, Data Specialist and other internal team-members on all on-boarding activities and to ensure that communication and deliverable dates are documented following established timeline/process for new plans. Responsible for proactive escalation and communication on all plans assigned that are at risk of not following timeline or meeting deliverable dates.
Skills And Background You’ll Need
Experience: 4 - 6 years of experience in a client-facing role working with defined contribution plan administration including: implementation activities, plan document design, client relationship management, asset transfer and reconciliation including SOX notification, experience with various plan types, investments, and federal pension regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Professional certification required: ASPPA CPC, QKA, QPA or NIPA (APA) (APR) preferred or in progress.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$72,750.00 - $106,500.00
