The Marketing & Sales Intern is to learn and assist in various social media, grassroots, tv/radio/online marketing campaigns.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $11.

This position will remain open until September 30, 2024.
Marketing research that will require making phone calls, emailing, searching the internet, and conducting meetings with various individuals within the market
Participate in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions
Participate in developing and implementing sales and service initiatives for graduations, family shows and concerts
Assisting with grassroots marketing, including creation and distribution of flyers, hanging posters, tabling and creating relationships with various retailers to promote events
Assist in managing the various social media platforms
Provide unsurpassed customer service to patrons and current clients over the phone, in the office and at events
Conducting demographic and psychographic research for various events and projects
Attend meetings with potential partners and learn to execute marketing with third-party partnerships
Interact with venues staff when working on various projects
E-mail management, website management and venue reporting
Perform variety of event day responsibilities within the Marketing Department
Help with planning and organizing of various sales and service initiatives and programs

Employee must be at least 18 years old
High School diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience)
Recommended for Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Management, or Hospitality Majors
A 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA is preferred.
Prior customer service experience is preferred
Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays dependent on events schedule
Stand and walk for four to six hours at a time
Ability to work as part of a team
Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
Knowledge of various social media sites - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
