Must

The Medical Lab Technician must have the following:

1+ year of experience working with PCR from start to finish

Experience with King Fisher and QuantStudio5 machines

Handling specimen handling and processing, test analysis, and reporting

Performing proficiency testing and handling quality control

Experience verifying performance of clinical assays

Experience writing reports and correspondence

Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associates Degree

Duties

Perform PCR Runs and analyze data

Prepare technical reports according to SOP's

Follow the procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing, as well as test analyses, and reporting

Maintain records of test results

Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment

Perform proficiency testing to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
