Company: Houston-based midstream company, with assets along the Texas Gulf Coast, focused on the development of natural gas liquids (NGLs) transportation, underground storage, and processing infrastructure.
Location: Clemville, TX (Markham)
The company is currently seeking Operators for the Company’s Markham Field Office to support the underground hydrocarbon storage facility operations in Clemville, TX (Markham)
Position Summary: The operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Company’s NGL storage wells and caverns, brine ponds, and associated pipelines and equipment.
Duties & Job Description
Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of underground storage and brine facility assets
Monitor product injection and product withdrawal operations; perform field activities as requested during routine and non-routine activities
Perform regulatory compliance activities required under Texas Railroad Commission regulations and permits.
Conduct rounds and routinely inspect safety system components, brine pumps, brine ponds, ground water monitoring wells, valves, degasser drum & flare, and other ancillary equipment for proper operation and routine maintenance
Align MOVs and manual valves, and operate pumps to complete desired movement lineups
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding product movements and product quality specifications
Monitor product and brine measurement equipment
Maintain facility appearance by conducting general housekeeping and maintenance
Oversee on-site contractors performing work on Company assets
Perform routine PM maintenance tasks and file applicable paperwork
Inspect perimeter fencing, locks, etc. to maintain proper facility, pipeline and ROW security and address and report any infractions
Provides operational support to project activity as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have pipeline and/or underground storage operation experience
Self-directed and able to work independently
Ability to occasionally lift or carry moderately heavy equipment up to 50 pounds, working, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing, and walking distances in all types of terrain.
Work outdoors in open-air environment.
Able to accommodate travel, overtime, weather, and participate in “on-call” rotation as required.
Must be semi-local to the area, requires the ability to be onsite within 30 minutes in the event of a call-out and/or emergency situation
Ability to read and comprehend technical operational manuals, P&IDs, etc….
Basic math and computer/PC skills required
Must have a valid driver’s license to drive provided company vehicle
