Pay Range: $31.00 - $35.00 Per Hour DOE

Within the first few months, you'll…

  • Become an integral member of the Construction Services Team
  • Complete a thorough training of our Construction Services' operational procedures
  • Be assigned to work with Project Manager(s), and Superintendent(s) to complete construction projects.
  • Learn how commercial modular structures are assembled and installed.
  • Develop relationships with our vendors and customers.
  • Be directly involved with the assembling of estimates/bids on various projects.
  • Assist corporate with invoice and collection issues (by understanding collection and repossession procedures)

Within 12 Months, You'll…

  • Your responsibilities will grow as does your knowledge and expertise. We will provide you with opportunities to take classes, share your insights and participate in process improvement discussions.
  • Participate in yearly events for 2-3 days during which we celebrate the previous year, work on improvement plans, and simply have a lot of fun.

What technical knowledge will you need?

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of software (Outlook, Word, Project, Teams, and Excel)
  • General knowledge of Design Software such as Blue Beam and Adobe
  • Understand Project plans and Specifications.
  • In charge of turning in submittals from subcontractors to A/E and owner for approval for all scopes of work based of the plans and specifications
  • Coordinates project change order management, creation, negotiation between Project Manager and Owner
  • Understanding and comprehension of prevailing wage, Davis Bacon, Union labor rates and requirements
  • Maintain open communication between all stakeholders and assist team with conflict resolution between Owner, contractor, and subcontractor.
  • High level understanding of cost coding, budget estimates, writing subcontract agreements and interpreting detailed scopes of work.
  • Proven ability to navigate project management software programs (Microsoft D365, Procore, SIS Customer Engagement would be a big plus)
  • Assist the project team with documenting job progress, schedule.
  • Create and distribute project closeout material, O and M manuals to owner once project is complete.
  • Assist Project Accountant with monthly subcontractor billings and pay applications.
  • Successfully ensure the accuracy of a project documentation from RFIs to Submittals to Change orders and close out.

What qualification do you need?

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a construction project coordinator or assistant PM for a general contractor
  • BS Construction Mgmt. or equivalent experience a plus
  • Expert communication skills, including excellent ability to identify and understand requirement of the project to the team and to participate in collaborating PROBLEM-SOLVING meetings.
  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up-skills, with the ability to multi-task
