We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Regional Vice President to lead our Texas/DFW operations. In this critical leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the region by driving strategic growth, maximizing profitability, and fostering a high-performing team culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership across the Texas region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and maximizing financial performance through effective budgeting, revenue forecasting, and expense management.
  • Champion a culture of compliance by ensuring adherence to all company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Leverage your deep market expertise to conduct insightful analyses of market trends, competitor activity, and occupancy rates. Develop and execute data-driven strategies for rent optimization, resident retention programs, and impactful leasing incentives.
  • Provide strategic direction and operational guidance to a team of regional managers, overseeing the seamless daily operations of a 3,000+ unit portfolio.
  • Cultivate a talent pipeline by actively leading, coaching, and mentoring your team to achieve their full potential and foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to significantly elevate the performance metrics of properties within your region.
  • Conduct regular property visits to provide expert guidance, coaching, and support to regional managers and on-site associates, driving continuous improvement across all operational aspects.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and poise at industry events, agency inspections, and ownership/investor meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, property managers, and employees across the region, fostering an environment of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Lend expertise to support the identification and acquisition of new properties, ensuring a smooth integration into the portfolio and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, complemented by a minimum of ten years of demonstrably successful experience in multi-family housing leadership.
  • A recognized Property Management Certification applicable to regional management of multiple properties.
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, motivate teams, and effectively represent the company at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software programs.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with a proven track record of interpreting and utilizing P&Ls and other financial documents to drive strategic decision-making.
  • A strategic mindset with exceptional judgment and the ability to develop and execute effective growth plans for the assigned region.
