About The Role

The HR Generalist, Recruiter and Onboarding Coordinator at BlueWave provides the first impression of the company and therfore serves a vital role as we continue to grow as a company and build out our team. As an integral part of the People Team you will help us attract and retain qualified employees. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates, as well as coordinating and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. You will also support the HR department in other tasks such as employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and channels to source and attract diverse talent.
  • Screen and interview candidates and provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Prepare and extend job offers and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate and conduct background checks and reference checks.
  • Plan and organize the onboarding process for new hires, including ensuring all IT & office setup, orientation, training, and paperwork.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate and employee experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding cycle.
  • Development and coordinate standardized companywide onboarding processes with team leaders and maintain updated training materials.
  • Maintain and update employee records and databases in compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Assist with employee engagement, performance management, and retention initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain metrics and data, and deliver data analysis, reports, and insights for strategic evaluation of recruiting campaigns and overall talent acquisition success.
  • Manage learning management and HR compliance training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • At least 4 years proven of experience in recruitment and employee onboarding, strong preference for experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software, such as Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability.
