Senior Project Manager - ACO
Our client is seeking a Senior Level Project Manager or Lead Project Manager to lead a cross-functional team of professionals in executing projects that uphold and drive business initiatives within an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) framework. The ideal candidate will manage resources effectively, foster collaboration across units, and maintain a clear focus on achieving project milestones and deliverables.
This role is fully remote.

The ideal candidate will manage resources effectively, foster collaboration across units, and maintain a clear focus on achieving project milestones and deliverables.

Senior Project Manager - ACO Responsibilities
- Execute assigned projects to deliver project benefits on time and within scope.
- Work effectively across multiple business units and functional teams to drive project results.
- Create and manage long- and short-term project plans, setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Make strategic decisions in complex scenarios to progress with assigned projects.
- Communicate consistently with executives and project sponsors to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Enforce standard project management methodologies and process discipline across project teams.
- Monitor and adjust project scope, schedule, and resources as necessary.
- Coach and mentor project team members on project processes and deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts and manage team dynamics to ensure collaborative project progress.
- Act as a change agent, leveraging authority to promote project deliverables across functional boundaries.
- Maintain accurate project management artifacts such as project plans, RAIDs, and status reports.
- Perform risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle to proactively address issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure alignment and cohesive action.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing ACO Flex and Provider Directory projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong background in health plan operations with an emphasis on process improvement and workflow analysis.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of health insurance, particularly in government programs.
