The Encompass Group has partnered with a growing and stable architecture firm with multiple locations to find a star to join the team as a Specification Writer. This remote position will work as part of the project team to develop the project manual on their assigned projects. They will also assist in the review of drawings as a quality control measure and assist the project team in product/system research and implementation into the design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and produces the Project Manual and Addenda for all project types including writing specifications and front-end documents for assigned projects for all offices.
Assists the project team with product and system research and implementation into the drawings and specifications, including review of product substitutions from Contractors, and generating Value Engineering (VE) items.
While writing specifications, reviews drawings for coordination issues and quality control, and brings this information back to the project team.
