Reporting to the Americas Banking Sales Leader, Vice President Sales will drive revenue growth and maximize sales performance for the organization. Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities
- Strategize and execute comprehensive sales plans across all product lines, encompassing credit, debit, and prepaid solutions.
- Expand product offerings to include core banking and broader payments, such as wires, ACH, and instant payments.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects in diverse markets throughout the region.
- Achieve annual bookings of at least $4 million with a goal of closing at least 6 sales per year.
- Cultivate relationships with and develop 100-150 assigned prospects to nurture future opportunities.
- Maintain a target list to sustain a pipeline of 50 ongoing prospects.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing & Partnerships to facilitate individual outreach and networking, fostering inbound lead flow aligned with assigned targets.
- Ensure meticulous data logging into Salesforce and proficiently manage pipeline progress according to sales stage criteria.
- Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions, fostering strong relationships and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Utilize industry relationships and insights to identify and capitalize on opportunities, contributing to meeting sales objectives.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and revenue predictability to drive consistent achievement.
- Foster collaboration within a team environment and engage regularly with senior or executive-level management.
- Education: MBA
- Experience: 7 - 10 years
Required Competencies
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of successful experience selling B2B SaaS solutions to Enterprise-level businesses. With 7-10 years of proven expertise in Bank & sales, backed by a robust network within the banking sector.
- Demonstrate a proactive and self-starting approach, capable of operating autonomously with minimal supervision – sole contributor.
- Showcase a track record of selling into banks or large bank clients with assets ranging from $5 to $20 billion, covering credit, debit, prepaid, core banking, and payment solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Card Network operations, card processing and program conversions.
- Exhibit a demonstrated ability to penetrate Enterprise-Level, C-suite stakeholders, consistently closing high-value deals per year generating millions in revenue.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process effectively.
- Employ value-based, consultative selling methodologies to drive successful outcomes.
- Display a strong aptitude for leading sales opportunities from initial discovery through validation, negotiation, and closure, adeptly leveraging internal resources.
- Possess the versatility to execute sales through various channels, including self-sourcing, inbound lead generation, and strategic partnerships.
- Navigate complex sales environments with multiple decision-makers and diverse influencers effectively.
- Showcase a solid background in utilizing CRM systems, with a preference for expertise in Salesforce.
- Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means, demonstrating exceptional presentation skills.
- Exhibit excellent prioritization and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Be willing to travel between 20% to 30% of the time to engage with prospects and clients effectively.
