Your Mission: You play a pivotal role in strategically developing, implementing, and institutionalizing comprehensive and proactive programs aimed at addressing enterprise risk management and corporate compliance. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, corporate compliance, insurance portfolio oversight, and claims processes. The VP will collaborate with leaders across the organization and drive the implementation of Caring Communities in coordination with community leaders and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
  • Develop and lead the ERM framework, ensuring alignment with Organization's strategic objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks and vulnerabilities across the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
  • Continuously refine and enhance the ERM program based on industry best practices and emerging risks.
  • Corporate Compliance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive corporate compliance program in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee compliance training and educational programs for staff.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and investigations, reporting findings to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Insurance Portfolio Oversight:
  • Oversee Organization's insurance portfolio, including property, casualty, liability, and other insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers and carriers to optimize coverage and pricing.
  • Review and negotiate insurance contracts to minimize risk and maximize coverage.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers to stay informed about industry trends and emerging risks.
  • Claims Process Management:
  • Manage the claims process, including the reporting, tracking, and resolution of insurance claims.
  • Work closely with leaders and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claims management.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for risk reduction.
  • Develop strategies to minimize the financial impact of claims on the organization.
  • Caring Communities Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation of Caring Communities in collaboration with community leaders and clinicians.
  • Ensure that the program aligns with the organization's mission, values, and quality standards.
  • Monitor the program's progress and effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of caring and accountability within the organization.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in enterprise risk management, corporate compliance, and insurance oversight.
  • Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or related certifications preferred.
