𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐆𝐏 - 𝓠𝓾𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓯𝔂𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓡𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀 In what was one of the wettest qualifying in MotoGP™ in some time Marco Bezzecchi claimed pole despite a late crash in Q2 at Silverstone. It was his second MotoGP pole in succession. The Qualifying sessions were filled with shocks but the biggest of them came when Fabio Quartararo ended up plumb last after a hairy Q1 session. What made matters worse was the fact that teammate Franco Morbidelli set the fastest time in Q1. Augusto Fernandez was the other rider to get into Q2 with ths likes of Marc Márquez and Enea Bastianini getting knocked. In Q2, the equation was simple. There was plenty of time to be gained around the track except for a few places where even the slightest error meant the end of the session. Pecco crashed early on which on most days would have meant a drop to the bottom of the pile but he still held on to 4th place. Bez set fastest times in quick succession but crashed in the dying moments of the season. However, the conditions were so treacherous that no one else could dethrone him with Jack Miller taking second and Alex Márquez, another early faller, completing the front row.
