Here’s a summary of the email from Merone Melekin regarding the CPPC Advocates Meeting: Event Plan: An informational session and panel with Advocates is scheduled for February 16, 2024. The event plan includes logistics, a draft agenda, and invite language. Venue: Nikki reserved two rooms in Freeman for up to 120 people, with a classroom-style setup. An alternative venue at the History Center is also an option. Invitations: The current invitation list has 74 guests, including special guests, lobbyists, lobbying principals, prospective operators, business leaders, and council members. Feedback on the invitation language and RSVP requirements was requested. All questions were required to be submitted in advance. The list of "advocates" is quite interesting. Some I have spoken to felt they were invited by the OCM only for optics. No public post of this meeting was provided by the OCM. Quite Cozy isn't it? 🤐
