INSIGHT OF THE DAY: US Ad market Do you know what is the US revenue ad split between AVOD, FAST, Broadcast and cable from 2023 to 2027? Houlihan Lokey Digital Video/OTT Update 2023 has published a model, and I have summarized for you the different contributions: -         As expected, Cable and Broadcast are declining with a respective CAGR of -18% and -10%. -         AVOD and FAST are growing, with a respective CAGR of 23% and 29%. Take aways : - Cable that is #1 i 2023, will be one before last in 2027 - FAST that is the last in 2023, will be #1 in 2027 Just follow the money. Not on this chart, but CAGR for the total ad market is only 3%, meaning there is a transfer from Cable and Broadcast to AVOD and FAST.
