What can intern roles bring to the workplace? A unique voice that the rest of your organisation may not have heard already. Given that interns are usually starting out their career they see the world from a different perspective and can bring fresh ideas, and new ways of looking at existing processes and procedures. With interns usually being a younger cohort they are likely to be digital natives (a person who is very familiar with digital technology, computers, etc. because they have grown up with them). Meaning that interns that are now entering the workplace with a high level of digital skills this can have many benefits. From a digital marketing perspective, they may know what works on socials better than most, especially on #TikTok. They may have good editing skills and have a high knowledge of brand aesthetics that work. So ask away, you never know what you might learn. I've no doubt that Heather is going to bring so much to High Tide and so glad that they are making this a meaningful experience for her. #ProudSisterMoment #Interns

Make no mistake - how you treat your employees is a brand play. Let me explain. I was already aware of Once Upon a Farm, but this honest praise for a dedicated intern planted a seed in my mind (as an outsider completely unaffiliated with the company) that this is a brand with genuine integrity behind it. They don't seem to be doing it for likes, or sales, or web traffic. There are not likely KPIs set against it, no data reports will be pulled to measure it's effectiveness, but that doesn't mean it's not a smart marketing move. It effects how we see and feel about them. Which effects purchasing intent. Not everything is measured in CTRs and ROAS, folks.

Heyya! 👋🏻 This is an update post regarding the internship I just began. Like it's said, "A work well begun is half done."  A good project starts with comprehensive planning. Hence, I started off with project initiation, which includes identifying the business problem and creating a project charter. Though the execution phase is my personal favorite, this initiation and planning phase is what keeps me organized! Stay tuned for further updates! 💫
