Women are powerful agents of change, and the far-reaching benefits of diversity and gender parity in leadership and decision-making are increasingly recognized in all spheres. Still, women continue to be vastly under-represented in decision-making in politics, businesses, and communities. Yesterday at FHS, we had a robust discussion on inclusivity, representative to representation with our experts, Liny Antwi and Susan Anderson. They are the ones who make gender and ethnic diversity a priority—by setting aspirational goals for the proportion of women in leadership roles, insisting on diverse slates of candidates for senior positions. While simultaneously developing mentoring and training programs to foster those who want to grow within their position. The case for balancing the power equation in leadership has never been more clear. But progress in women’s leadership will not happen automatically. It comes from a great perception that has the power to improve and appreciate diversity. That’s why yesterday’s discussion was an eye-opener. Pursuing a rising topic as women in leadership shows our commitment to elaborating, breaking the ceiling and enriching the diversity’s value. Special thanks to our amazing hosts Bianca Maria Cantor and Ta Hoang Kim as well as the dynamic audience and the empowerment they brought to the table. #futurehospitalitysociety #diversityinclusion #inclusive #womenempowerment #leadershipinsights

Interested in diversity figures? ✅Here is the democratically elected women leaders (1960-2022). ↳ Less than 15% of countries have a woman leader .... ↳ Gender Bias for country leadership ↳ Let's see the global map from ESRI https://lnkd.in/ddWquxaX ✅ And then, ↳ What about professionals above 50 who face challenges to get a new job? ↳ I am curious to know how many countries have a man leader ABOVE 60 ? ↳ Probably a lot! ↳ Anyone has an idea? ↳ NO Age Bias for country leadership #diversity #seniortalents #womenleaders
