I believe the best way to measure client progress with coaching is using the metric that makes most sense to the client. I encourage clients to set their own goal at each stage of the coaching program, and I commit to guiding them to achieve it. In stage one of burnout recovery - the first 6 weeks, that return them to 'buoyancy' from exhaustion - often they will nominate a mood/energy goal. e.g. Reducing anxiety from 8/10 severity down to 2/10 within 6 weeks. I ask them to self-rate their goal every day, to track progress.

Nurse | Author | Life & Resilience Coach | Medicare Consultant | Creator of the 5R Method Guiding you with resilience through life's challenges and helping you birth babies, books and dreams at any age. 🚀✨
What to do when you feel overwhelmed (with people, work or business, or just life in general). #NakedTruth I had to do this myself today 🙄🤣🤪 The first step of my 5R Method (that I teach to all my 1:1 coaching clients) is called Refresh. Think of a computer screen. It’s frozen and spinning and overwhelmed and not moving forward. You hit the refresh button or even just turn it off and restart it. And everything is new. Sometimes that simple action fixes everything. We can do the same thing when we are feeling flooded, frozen, overwhelmed, frazzled, anxious, depressed or just so far behind on everything we want to accomplish. It may seem counterintuitive, but often the best first step is to stop and refresh. Take a breath. Take a nap. Take a walk. Step away from the problem, task, to do list, situation and reset yourself, press your own refresh button. Doing this allows you to take a step back from the situation. It allows you to recenter and get grounded again. It also gives your body time to acclimate before you make any rash decisions (that can often have unintended consequences). In my 1-1 coaching program, I walk you through how to do this in your real life, what to do next and why it matters. I teach you my entire 5R Method that helps you build resilience, calms your nervous system, and helps you manage even the most difficult or toxic situations (whether that’s a devastating diagnosis or simply a fight with a partner). I teach you how to show up differently in life, and, as a result, your life changes. DM or click the link below to hop on a call and see if my 1-1 Coaching program is right for you. Message me with any questions.

If you know someone with a complex fatigue; a fatigue that doesn't seem to lift for long; a chronic, ongoing level of exhaustion and even debility... point them in the direction of my unique group coaching experience. If you know someone who is high-flying, capable, pushing hard, and feeling that they are on the brink of fatigue ... or can see burn out coming ... point them in the direction of my unique 1-1 coaching work. I can effectively help for a mere fraction (of a fraction) of that cost! Check out my testimonials from those with longterm chronic fatigue: www.hypnocatalyst.com. Picture this: Your extended family, not just reflected externally but mirrored within you. There's an internal family coexisting with the external one. The model we use for this—Internal Family Systems (IFS) by Richard Schwartz: Self: Core aspect with calmness and compassion. Parts: Distinct facets with unique emotions and roles. Exiles: Parts holding intense emotions from past traumas. Managers/Firefighters: Parts controlling or avoiding painful emotions. Therapeutic Process: Identify, understand, and harmonize parts, strengthening the Self. Goal: Cultivate a balanced relationship among parts, promoting Self-leadership. Application: Effective in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. With IFS, it's not about just fixing what's outside. Instead, it's about focusing on how you're doing in here. You're learning to differentiate yourself from the conflicting, unresolved, and unheard parts within. 🌟 Does life coaching sound like a path you're meant to pursue? Director at Roots and Wings Social Care Ltd. Coaching Psychologist, Leadership Consultant, Cross Professional Supervisor with Psychology and Health and Social Care background.
Delighted to announce that I am a certified Eight Tensions Coach! The Eight tensions framework (created by Dr Natalie Lancer) is built upon an Existential Psychology perspective and this means it: · Considers human nature and experience to be open-ended and adaptable / flexible. · Is built on beliefs that we are capable of an enormous range of experiences and changes whilst we live our lives and try to find meaning. · Evokes internal curiosity and reflections around the conflicts that arise throughout life. · Is built upon empowerment of the meanings we attach to our lives and events that happen to us. The tensions we all face in life can be broadly categorised into 8 key themes and areas. Using the 8 tensions framework as a coaching roadmap for navigating through life’s tensions that we all experience. It can help us put our lives into context and perspective and give us a language to discuss what is going on internally for us. It can help us to focus on the dynamics that are at play for us, help us reflect on the meaning we attach to our experiences and distil down quickly to the heart of the issues going on for us. From there meaningful work and action can follow. If you would like to find out more about what the eight tensions are and how you can be coached using this framework please get in touch. #coachingpsychology #coachingjourney #coachingprofesional
