Seminar on CP1 fatigue properties and its comparison to AlSi10Mg We have had the pleasure to host, on 13th Dec, a webinar on the fatigue properties of #additive Constellium CP1 alloyand its comparison to AlSi10Mg in terms of fatigue properties at R=-1 and R=0.1. The webinar had 40+ attendees from different companies (Leonardo Space, Avio Aero, Scuderia Ferrari, Thales Alenia Space, AIDRO hydraulics & 3D printing ) and presentations were delivered by Ravi Shahani, Erembert Nizery for Constellium and by Stefano Beretta, luca patriarca and Lorenzo Rusnati for PoliMI. Presentations (here Overview by Constellium) were followed by interesting questions and discussion about reasons for the increased fatigue properties of CP1 respect to AlSi10Mg. Absolutely, Ryan Leggett! Life is indeed synonymous with this analogy. Just like the 1000 gram iron bar, we all have inherent value. However, it is what we choose to do with that value that determines our worth. Running towards the fire, as mentioned, symbolizes embracing challenges and pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones. It is through these experiences that we can truly grow and become the best versions of ourselves. The different examples given, such as making horseshoes, sewing needles, watch springs and gears, or precision laser components, represent the various paths we can take in life. Each path has its own potential for growth and success, just like the increasing value of the iron bar. The key takeaway here is that our value is not solely defined by what we are made of, but rather by the choices we make and the ways in which we maximize our potential. It's all about #perspective and #mindset!
