But it also doesn’t have to be a newspaper. 📰 This weekend, The Jersey Bee debuted our first mini zines, bringing some of our most useful food access reporting offline and directly into the community, including info on verified food pantries, applying for government assistance, and how to navigate SNAP benefit theft. To us, solutions journalism isn’t just reporting — it means trying to be a solution, too. So when people told us this info wasn’t readily available to them, we didn’t just report it, we aimed to bridge the gap.
