AHBL worked with TCF Architecture, PLLC to provide structural engineering and planning services for Tacoma Public Schools new Maritime 253 Skills Center. The building will feature career and technical education (CTE) classrooms, lab/shop spaces, and collaborative areas for 300 high school students from Pierce County to learn career and technical education skills. Interior renderings reveal state-of-the-art learning spaces at new Maritime 253 Skills Center TCF Architecture, PLLC’s interior renderings of the new Maritime 253 Skills Center feature modern training spaces designed to simulate real maritime environments, equipped with advanced technology and realistic maritime equipment for hands-on learning. The Maritime 253 Skills Center phase 1 project aims to create a cutting-edge educational facility focusing on advanced preparation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) skills. The Maritime Center will be a landmark campus on the Tacoma waterfront, home to a new Port of Tacoma business office building and Tacoma Public Schools new Maritime 253 Skills Center. Maritime 253 will provide opportunities for high school students across Pierce County to develop skills and education leading to a career in the maritime and industrial trades.
