Last year, we recommissioned the study. Not only have we re-run the candidate research to see how things have changed, we've taken it one step further; analysing data from over 2 million applications and nearly 70,000 hires, (in what we think is the BIGGEST analysis of real job application data from multiple organisations and industries) to see what’s really going on… Worryingly, 9/10 candidates are still concerned about discrimination in the hiring process. I'm really shocked by research shared in HR Magazine by the number of employers NOT collecting diversity data from job applicants. How can you plan for greater diversity without basic data? Astonished... - 49% of organisations are asking applicants for diversity data - 40% are not collecting data - 11% were unsure (err... how can you not be sure?) - 53% of large organisations are collecting data (meaning 47% are not?) - 69% of public sector employers are collecting data (meaning 31% - nearly a third - are not?)
