Having a pet 🐶 is good for the heart ❤️ The facts: Petting a dog can lower your blood pressure, and humans who walk their dogs regularly face 1/3 the risk of diabetes of those who don’t own a dog.

What about cat parents? 😂 Do we also have a lower risk of stress?

Heart health and oral health are linked - so get out there and walk those fur-babies!

So cute! It's easy to underestimate the health benefits of walking your furry friends, but the science is there to back it up!

We couldn’t agree more! If only we could prescribe dog cuddles for everyone! 🐶❤️

Definitely!!I have my rescue fur baby and he’s heaven sent he helps reduce stress and anxiety and he’s warm he’s like a live heat pad like those stuffed animal heat pads you put in the microwave but this one you don’t it’s just something that you never take for granted

One of my favourite stories people share with me is that of their beloved pets - those still with us, or who have passed. Every one has their own way of finding their human, and the way people speak with such fondness about their little companions is so special and endearing.

I love this. I should have really low blood pressure. However, I guess when she/he eats something off the counter it gets raised again. 😁

This is awesome. And you can help the Cincinnati Animal Care Center, they currently have 500 dogs. These dogs need are help as much as they can help us.

Just signed up to be a volunteer at an animal shelter. I’m planning on becoming more social and active in my community. I’m excited for many healthy dog walks in my future ☺️🐶
