It's great to share the research Andre Lavallee, Kevin Axton and I have done on the subject. The AT Systems, LLC in-aircraft training system meets or exceeds the recommendations of the FAA ACT ARC through automation of training scenarios to prevent distracted safety pilots and backs up the safety with integrated safety systems to stop training if preset limits are exceeded. The system works day, night and NVG. Unlike other systems our system does not connect to the NVG tubes. This provides a safer system, will not damage the NVG tubes or pivot shelf and will not cause problems with existing maintenance programs. Terrific to be invited by the Drone Delivery Group to deliver a presentation at their annual conference today, on cross-domain safety assurance of automated mobility. A vibrant discussion including industry, Government and research with a clear focus on the potential for cross-domain learning and activity. With the introduction of evermore complex systems comes evermore pressing challenges. Chief among these that of assuring safety. WMG’s Cross-Domain Safety Assurance report outlines opportunities for land-air-marine to address similar challenges together including adopting an ODD based scenario assurance methodology and the need for a common approach to the validation of virtual testing environments.
