“Measure twice, cut once”. Here’s a sustainable business with a difference. Life size Plans Leinster use projection technology to provide you with a real-life walkthrough of your home or commercial building plans, revealing potential issues that otherwise typically reveal themselves during (or after) construction. Identifying and resolving issues at the planning stage with a walkthrough setting avoids the costs and stress of re-work - and importantly avoids the associated waste of resources from re-work. Well done to John Foley and Emma Foley for bringing this innovative solution to Ireland.
It is always a pleasure to welcome award-winning architect and founding partner of Douglas Wallace Consultants Hugh Wallace to Lifesize Plans Leinster with his clients. Looking forward to welcoming him back soon. #bringyourplanstolife #lifesizeplansleinster #rightfirsttime #selfbuildireland

If you are an architect, if you are firm owner, if you find yourself dreaming of starting a firm, if you are a student and you want to learn more about how the business side of the profession is run. If you are even just curious about how you might do one thing better then you need to attend this conference. Even better than all of that is the wonderful, supportive community. You will find yourself in conversation with other architects / firm owners having coffee in the morning, or maybe a drink after the sessions are completed and you will hear about how those people overcame struggles with their practice, you can share stories and learn some new things you can try. Those people that you meet and talk to then become resources for you in the future of your firm. We are all here in this community and are accessible and want to help each other. This is not just about immediate improvements in your business, but lifelong sustained connections and growth. But if you wait to register, and it sells out and you end up kicking yourself for not taking action sooner then you have no one to blame but yourself. Stop what you are doing right now and go register. It will be the best decision you make this year.
If you are a small firm architect, please don't miss this. This conference is very different than the others. Here's why you should make it a priority to attend. At The EntreArchitect Community Annual Meeting 2024, we’ve taken a unique approach to selecting our speakers. We didn’t start with names. We started with you—our community—and the topics that matter most to you as small firm architects. We carefully crafted a framework of what we need to learn and who can best teach it. Each speaker was chosen for their expertise and because their message is essential for your success. This event isn’t like any other. It’s not just about learning from experts; it’s about connecting human-to-human—friends supporting friends, peers sharing and lifting one another up. The magic happens when we come together as a community. That’s where the real power lies, and it's an extraordinary experience you don't want to miss. This conference was designed because of you and for you. It quite literally would not exist without you. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive alongside others who understand your journey. Join us in Nashville, October 23-25. We’re saving you a seat. Achieving a reduction in embodied carbon demands a transformation across major global industries. While this challenge is too large for any single organization or network to tackle alone, the CLF Toronto | Carbon Leadership Forum is strategically positioned to influence the building sector with targeted, high-impact initiatives and interventions. We are proud to support an organization who is raising awareness, driving innovation and fostering change to eliminate carbon from buildings and infrastructure through collective action. #CarbonLeadership #EmbodiedCarbon #SustainableBuilding #ClimateAction #CarbonReduction #BuildingSustainability

I craft cohesive brand voices through stories across platforms—web, social, emails, blogs etc for CEOs/founders in Architecture & Design → acting as your ghostwriter & marketer, 70% time-saved I Award-winning music blog
What's it like working with a team to produce Let's Build #architecture events all year? From graphics, social media, and copy to speakers, venues, food & drink, sponsors, and more, it’s a whirlwind! Lockdown got us comfy working solo even with a remote team (in the background kind-of), but now we're still itching for face-to-face, in-person human interactions. Since it ended, we still crave in-person human interactions and connections. For most of us, the shift back to the office shows it, and is (still) teaching us how to juggle being in-person and working with a remote team online/ others working-from-home. It's like we forgot how to socialize, but now we're relearning! Being in a team of 10, 15, 20? It’s no walk in the park—dealing with different personalities and work styles can be tough. Collaborating with our team (some in-person and remote) is interesting. But, we thrive on it, producing top-notch events every year. This year is no different; we’re back at London Festival of Architecture AGAIN! Join us on Thursday, June 6th, at tp bennett for “Climate Change: Reimagine Our City.” Grab your tickets now- https://lnkd.in/eJm5nthD #events #eventsmanagement #lfa #LFA #LondonFestivalofArchitecture #architects #architecture #marketing #marketer #marketingexecutive #seniormarketingexecutive #marketingmanager #london

A+E firms often underinvest in Business Development. One of the takeaways from a stellar webinar, The Zen of A+E Practice Management, from Enoch Sears, AIA LEED AP of Business of Architecture. He mentions... "We can continue to exist in a state of scarcity, in a state of maybe not getting the right projects, or we can work out a systematic approach to be able to grow our network consistently." ...and calls out BD and networking as one of the top areas for firms to increase awareness.

Exciting panel discussion on the trend towards 'new suburbs' and the concept of the 15-minute city. This debate delves into the growing preference among architects, master-planners, and developers for creating lively micro-communities. We explore the feasibility of the 15-minute city idea and how architects can effectively plan for a diverse mix of amenities. Key points include the need for innovative solutions in traffic flow and infrastructure for regional hubs, the time required to integrate these hubs into existing cities or develop new micro-hub cities, and the potential similarities to the small town concept of the past. Join us for insights from panelists representing various perspectives in the industry. Moderated by Adam Smith, this promises to be a thought-provoking discussion at the FOA Summit. #FOA #FOASummit #FOAAwards.
