The Animation Production Days officially kick off today with the Opening Reception! The APDs are part of the Stuttgart Animated Week, together with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film and the FMX - Film & Media Exchange. We are excited to get the APDs started and look forward to an exciting four days ahead. +++Project 50: Happily Never After (Talent Project)+++ We are in the year 2026. Fairy creatures still live among us but are on the brink of extinction. Overall, no one cares about them; no one except one person: Felix Bittner, a passionate anthropologist armed with a low-budget camera and a determination to save these fantastical beings. Felix, along with his companion Maryam (a genie), starts producing a documentary series on the past, present, and uncertain future of fairy creatures.
