It turns out that artists in our region help to contribute more than $10 billion to the local economy 🤯 - 170,000 jobs supported by creative industries - 71 creative industries ranging from digital media & music to architecture & interior design - 86,990 indirect creative economy jobs - 82,467 direct creative economy jobs Arts education matters.  Growing a future generation that can think creatively matters. We are proud that our teaching artists are part of that impact. They are helping the youth of San Diego develop the skills to make our city a more diverse and cultural place to live. * The second report for the San Diego region was commissioned by the City of San Diego and the San Diego Regional Policy & Innovation Center.
