It’s World Breastfeeding Week 2024 and the theme for this year is “Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all." Breastfeeding is a natural and beneficial practice, yet many mothers face challenges in getting the support they need. To truly close the gap, it's essential to provide accessible and comprehensive breastfeeding support for all. Ensuring that every mother has access to accurate information, professional guidance, and emotional support can significantly enhance breastfeeding success rates. Healthcare professionals, community organizations, and policymakers should collaborate to create supportive environments that empower mothers, regardless of their background or circumstances. By fostering a culture that prioritizes breastfeeding support, we can improve maternal and infant health outcomes, promote bonding, and reduce healthcare costs. Let's advocate for policies and programs that make breastfeeding support a universal right, ensuring every mother and baby has the best start in life. Together, we can close the gap and make breastfeeding support accessible to all. #registereddietitian #worldbreastfeedingweek #closingthecap #breastfeedingsupport #maternalhealth #publichealth

Hi everyone! Breastfeeding support is crucial for all the mothers. The theme for World Breastfeeding Week 2024 is "Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all". This year we want to really recognize breastfeeding mums, ensure they are seen and heard, and share relatable human experiences about breastfeeding and the importance of multi-level support. As a part of the healthcare community, we taught breastfeeding mothers about the benefits , techniques, positions of breastfeeding. We support to create Policies and attitudes that value women and breastfeeding,A women and breastfeeding-friendly health care system,Respect for women’s autonomy and her right to breastfeed anytime, anywhere. #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking

Help us celebrate World Breastfeeding Week and improve Access To All. We are offering our course Primary Care Breastfeeding Support: The First Weeks to all health care practioners who sign up during World Breastfeeding Week: https://lnkd.in/g_P_8Z7A Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) serve as the primary care medical home for many underserved families. By design, FQHCs provide services to families with limited access to health care and a high proportion of families. One study found that 1 in 10 families at FQHCs experience social risk factors including food, housing and financial insecurity. Given disparities in breastfeeding rates and the variability in access to breastfeeding support, we see FQHCs as key players in the efforts to improve access to all. In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week we are offering 50% OFF our course Primary Care Breastfeeding Support: The First Weeks to providers at FQHC's!
