As much as I love to speak about the frustrations in health care or my current position, it is just as important to highlight positive outcomes as well. So today I wanted to share the following with you: I had a breakthrough with a patient on my caseload. By delving deeper into her needs, I discovered that she requires long-term housing support, something she hadn't previously expressed. Using my limited motivational interviewing skills (I need to search for MI training from a certified and reputable source), I uncovered the gaps in our support system and identified the root cause of her sporadic engagement. This experience reinforced the importance of thorough patient understanding and highlighted areas for improvement in my role as an LCM. After an open and honest conversation, the patient and I developed a plan that resonated with her. I'm confident that our next follow-up in 2 weeks will be more productive, paving the way for enhanced support and service delivery. #PatientCare #Healthcare #SupportServices #CaseManagement #PatientCenteredCare #CareGaps #HealthAdvocacy #MotivationalInterviewing #PatientEngagement #PositiveOutcomes

Physical Therapist | Learning and Development Specialist, Utilization Review, Geriatric Clinical Specialist | I Help Burnt Out Clinicians Obtain Nonclinical Job Offers!
1 reason clinicians want to leave clinical care: limited career growth opportunities! Many promote the ability to move within a company for nonclinical roles. (Especially management roles) Is that true or a lie? I share my experience and what you can do if you're seeking new opportunities. P.S. What has your experience been? #nonclinical #careertransition #networking #careergrowth #management https://lnkd.in/gZD6yjw3

Recruiting the right Chief Medical Officer for your organization requires a heavily customized approach. You've heard the saying, "If you've seen one CMO role, you've seen one CMO role." Please ask us how Jackson Physician Search can help find the right physician leader for YOUR organization's unique culture and objectives.
We couldn't be more thrilled to help this full-service behavioral healthcare organization find its new Chief Medical Officer. With its dedication to providing comprehensive mental health care to communities across Tennessee, Director of Physician Executive Search Dirk Jansson knew the importance of finding the right fit for this critical role. If your organization is recruiting a physician executive, reach out to VP of Executive Search Tom Rossi to find a leader who shares your goals and values. #physicianrecruitment #physicianexecutives

Working with behavioral healthcare programs to maximize revenue while helping them operate more efficiently and ethically | Recruiting, Medical Billing, Credentialing, Compliance
To all of my Maryland behavioral health providers: Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) has significantly changed their licensing process when it comes to opening new programs and applying for renewal licenses for behavioral health programs in the state. Some things the licensing board is looking at: Accreditation Organization survey recommendations Program Schedules (differentiation between Adults and Children/Adolescents AND SUD and OMHC) Medical Director and Clinical Director employment (cannot be employed 40+ hours across multiple organizations) Specific policies and procedures Optum, Maryland’s Medicaid Provider, is also increasingly performing more audits for programs. These audits are involving the BHA, as well. Some things these audits are looking at: Payroll Proper and detailed documentation Staff to client ratios The BHA and Optum Maryland are working together to address fraudulent behavior in the industry. This means #compliance must be a TOP priority for organizations. You need to dot your i’s and cross your t’s. Programs will be shut down if they don’t follow the guidelines. Revive BHS works with programs across the state to ensure compliance. We offer monthly compliance, as well as one-time audits to address these areas. We want programs to succeed, the people in our community need safe facilities to seek treatment.

Texas LPC Supervisor; I offer online, efficient Continuing Education (CE) courses for Texas LPC Supervisors
Though I’m not licensed in these states, I took a quick look at the job posting. $70K for a full-time therapist position. It explicitly states full licensure required and must be available 40 hours per week. If you’re interested in this job, I would highly recommend asking about how much time you’ll be providing direct therapy services throughout your 40 hours of availability. Since it’s salary, you probably want to know what that expectation looks like. Also, determine if it’s weekend/evening requirements, a typical 8-5 job, or there’s flexibility in creating your schedule. For fun, I looked at the corporate openings: Operations Associate II, Clinical Expansion 2 years experience and no clinical requirements Salary range: 68K - 104K Both of these jobs are fully remote and offer all the additional compensation packages of healthcare, timeoff, private stock equity, etc. Why are therapists, the ones doing the actual work with a bachelors degree, master’s degree, and at least two-three years of experience to gain full licensure (approx 9 years worth of time, money, effort, education, experience) being compensated at lower rates? Because we’re willing to accept it.
