At the Small Satellite Conference (SmallSat), we received dozens of inquiries about the FCC’s “5 year rule”. Our mission is to reduce space junk and to capture and deorbit space debris. We are manufacturing the D3 drag device right now (and accepting orders!). The D3 is a low-cost and extremely reliable solution for speedy deorbit while our space debris capture device “Gadget” will be on cleanup duty in the very near future. Learn more about the FCC’s five year rule in the link below and you can help accelerate our mission to #clearupspace by checking out our StartEngine campaign. https://lnkd.in/gv7vgDCb https://lnkd.in/eZixPqqT #smallsat #spacejunk #newspace

📢 NEWS: ADRAS-J has achieved a major technical milestone: completion of the rendezvous phase and the beginning of proximity approach. This success is underscored by starting Angles-Only Navigation, a navigation method to estimate relative position and velocity through the servicer’s on-board cameras — a landmark event for rendezvous and proximity operations. After initiating its approach from thousands of kilometers away, our operations team successfully maneuvered ADRAS-J to within several hundred kilometers of the rocket upper stage. ADRAS-J's visual camera then successfully detected the client, and its images were processed using Astroscale-developed Angles-Only Navigation algorithms. As the mission progresses into the proximity approach phase, ADRAS-J will continue to demonstrate industry-leading RPO technologies. Stay tuned for more updates! #ShowtheWayADRASJ https://lnkd.in/gxV2pdED

🚀 One of the biggest challenges our OroraTech team is tackling is cutting down the time for space data processing. Anyone working with space technologies knows processing can often take hours before actionable information is available. But what if we could change that? 🛰️ One of the solutions is on-orbit data processing, which will be possible with our future constellation. However, while we’re preparing to launch our cameras, wildfires are not waiting. The need for fast data is critical, especially during aggressive fires threatening lives and infrastructure. 🔥 That’s why we’ve already integrated satellites into our app that offer faster processing times and have developed algorithms that significantly reduce the data delay to 30-40 minutes. Curious about how this works in real life? Check out the animation below showcasing the Wapiti Fire, Idaho. You’ll find details on some individual hotspots, satellite overpass times (Acquisition), and when alerts are sent to users (Detection). #wildfiretech #earthobservation #satellites #idaho #forestfires

A video is worth a thousand words they say ! 🛰️ I’ll keep it simple and in numbers : - 4 products (a moving spacevan, thanks to our propulsion systems spaceware, on a mission designed by our mission analysis software spacestudio and operated by our flight dynamics & Mission Control software spacetower). This is a video of our mobilityhub. - 9 years of work - From 200 people over the years - 4 happy founders Jean-Luc Maria Nicolas Heitz Paul Lascombes 🙂 We are now a real space mobility operator. Don’t get me wrong, we haven’t done everything right. We have done mistakes but we have learnt from them. It’s what matters. And we still have a lot to do. Completing the industrialisation of our spaceware product lines. Flying our new more capable spacevan. Developing new high power products and in orbit services. But still, we are now a real space mobility operator. Our mobilityhub is real. #space #satellite #mobility

Space is useful as a platform because of it's ability to cover large geographic areas with very little infrastructure. Inversion takes advantage of this for physical cargo distribution. I sat down with Sandra Erwin at SpaceNews to talk about Inversion's upcoming flight in October and how Inversion is thinking about the market of cargo storage and delivery from space. Check out the great article here: https://lnkd.in/gkEtyFPh

Atmoshere Space Converter by Spitty Space represents a revolutionary approach to leveraging Earth's atmosphere for space exploration and environmental solutions. #AtmosphereSpaceConverter Here's a breakdown: 1. Air Harvesting: *The Spitty Advanced Air Pump extracts air from Earth's atmosphere. *This air is processed by the Spitty Atmosphere Space Converter, separating and converting its components. 2. Resource Generation: *Moisture from the air is converted into unlimited water. *Oxygen and CO₂ are produced in unlimited quantities, supporting propulsion and life support systems. 3. Storage & Deployment: *Resources are stored in 2000 tanks at the Spitty Space Station. *Spitty Space Drones deliver these essentials—oxygen, water, and CO₂—to the Moon, Mars, and space vehicles/stations. *Spitty Docking Stations provide a continuous 24/7 resupply hub for space missions. 4. Earth's CO₂ Removal: *The Liquid CO₂ Atmosphere Converter scales to remove billions of tonnes of CO₂ from Earth's atmosphere. *CO₂ is transported in Spitty CO₂ Bubbles to the Moon and Mars, aiding atmospheric engineering for potential habitability. In essence, Spitty offers a one-stop utility solution for space exploration while addressing Earth's CO₂ crisis, positioning itself as a critical technology for sustainability both on Earth and in space. #AtmosphereSpaceConverter #SpittySpace #SpittySpaceDrones #SpittySpaceStations www.spitty.space Invited to join our ambitions to be the Utilities in space UK Space Agency European Space Agency - ESA Satellite Applications Catapult Innovate UK Business Connect 10 Downing Street Space South Central Farnborough International Space Show Space Norway RAL Space BAE Systems
