An IntroHit is a personalised walk-up song written about a specific individual to engage your audience as they enter the stage. They're a great opportunity to honour specific team members, CEOs, or award recipients.
Our SongDivision team will write the song before your event using the information you provide about your specific team member. This one is about Lonise from ADMEI...let us know what you think 😊

i’m proud to serve on the board of directors for TOGETHER! where we’re committed to systems change at every level.
nonprofit executive roles are untenable and unsustainable. it’s why turnover is HIGH, and the ability to retain great leaders is RARE.
board governance can be a tool to liberate leaders, OR it can be a weight around your neck as you try to swim laps in the deep end.
personally, i choose liberation. otherwise, what are we even doing?!
#leadershipinsights#boardofdirectors#governancematters#sharedpower#doingthework#forthelove#WE
Please welcome our new Co-Executive Directors Kahlo Flores & Sierra A.!
Their vision, perspective, experience, and grounding presence are incredible gifts to TOGETHER!. We are so excited and grateful for their courage to step in! We are overjoyed co leadership remains core to who we are as an organization, and that this organization is in such strong, capable hands moving forward!

In 2019 I heard about this SaaS startup - with an unusual name - that two brothers had founded. Curious, I read up about Joyous and knew I was destined to help them make life better for people at work.
It took me a while to land a coffee date with Philip Carden but it was one of those moments where you just know this is the start of something amazing.
I joined Joyous as their first product person and have since helped across every function, learning more than I could ever have imagined.
Michael Carden and Philip Carden are two of the best humans I know and I feel much the same about the entire team. It’s an honour to work alongside them and the biggest compliment of my career that people of such high calibre are putting their trust in me as we forge ahead.
The product we’ve built together has grown into something that I couldn’t be more proud of. One that’s truly unique. The way we use AI to help gather feedback from the frontline at scale and quickly synthesise it into action is nothing short of a miracle. I say that because the road to get here hasn’t been straightforward and it’s those tough journeys that are always the most worthwhile.
Today we get to see Joyous make people’s jobs easier at some of the world’s largest organisations - based on their own ideas and expertise actually being heard. There’s just no better feeling!
Seeing that also translate to huge cost savings for organisations in what might be the toughest economy of our age - well that’s just about the best icing on the cake.
Here’s to the next chapter! Let’s go!
We're pleased to announce that Ruby Kolesky has accepted the role of sole Chief Executive Officer at Joyous.
Ruby joined us back in January 2020 as Chief Product Officer, before joining co-founders Michael Carden and Philip Carden as Co-CEO in April 2021.
Ruby has since developed a strong set of broad capabilities - playing a significant role in the strategy and execution of Joyous to date.
Ruby is a strategic leader with a clear and compelling vision for Joyous. Along with her ability to create focus and achieve results, this will make a significant impact across all parts of Joyous.
We look forward to the next phase of growth for Joyous under Ruby’s leadership. Please join us in congratulating Ruby for this phenomenal achievement!
Barry Brott has also accepted the role as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Joyous.

Last week, I took part in a panel discussion about Intersectional Realities as a leader in Tech mobile.de
It was amazing to see such a diverse crowd, filled with allies and diverse leaders and talents in tech. We had an open conversation about the struggles you can face if more than one diversity dimension creates an invisible barrier for you in your career.
It was great to talk with you on stage, Vlore Krug & Andrea Romero Ortega, and learn about your journeys.
Some key takeaways we had:
💡 It is important to have safer spaces in your work environment; places where people who are part of minority groups can talk about their careers and challenges.
💡 We should think about our own privileges; everyone has them. This way, we can learn to change our personal perspective and perception of others.
💡 In order to create an inclusive environment for everyone at work, we have to understand that we are all within the structures of our society. We should not only focus on attracting diverse talents but also understand that how we evaluate talents needs to become more diverse as well.

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to join a panel discussing female leadership along with Susi Krieg, Vlore Krug and Marisa Twahirwa. What a celebration it was! It's been a long journey, and I'm confident that there's even more to come. Let's embrace our intersections and shine brightly with them!
Thank you to one of my best friends and brilliant professional, Marilyn Nowacka, for nominating me and encouraging me to join

I was privileged to join the The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's distinguished speaker series as a part of their #BlackHistoryMonth gathering hosted by the Goodyear Black Network. The discussion was moderated by my former colleague and friend, senior vice president and chief communications officer, Laura Duda. Though we’re not related, it was also wonderful getting to meet and hear from RaJohn Butler.
Throughout the dynamic conversation we discussed how individuals can, regardless of their roles, work to advance a more diverse and inclusive workplace. I shared that one of the simplest but most effective ways we can do to advance DEI in the workplace is to take the time to get to know our coworkers. When we welcome the opportunity to connect, not only can our outlooks change but so can our outputs. At all levels of business, having a mindset of inclusivity and being able to embrace diverse voices and perspectives is critical. Advancing the DEI work we do here at Exelon through every level of our business plays a critical role in our ability to deliver safe, reliable, and equitable energy to our communities.
Although Black History Month provides a chance to delve into subjects that benefit the Black community through meaningful discussions, DEI remains significant to our business year-round. For us, it’s a core value and not just a business strategy. We need to reflect the communities that we serve, not only in our entry-level teams but at the executive-level as well. We’re clear that anyone who works for Exelon is required to demonstrate these values, and it’s my job to be a model of that behavior. That means standing up for the values we represent and staying true to them despite ever shifting climate around us.
Thank you again to the Goodyear Black Network for inviting me to join this discussion. I’m honored to have been a part of this series.
Today, the Goodyear Black Network hosted a great conversation with President and CEO of Exelon Calvin Butler, moderated by GBN Executive Sponsor Laura Duda.
Our final Black History Month signature event was a lively and engaging discussion that reflects Goodyear’s commitment to an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued.
Thank you, Calvin, for sharing your unique career journey and insights on leadership and development, as well as many other topics that matter to our associates. You are an inspiration to #TeamGoodyear!

Friday's Beyond Leadership with LEADERSHIP HARRISBURG AREA was a full day of focus on the 10 Essentials of Servant Leadership and a great follow up from my CLS class.
Servant Leadership is not about the number of non profit organizations served by an individual, or the number of hours spent attending board meetings or community events. That is community service and it is very important. Servant Leadership, however, is about one person making an investment in the growth and development of another person; it's one person putting another's needs before their own. It happens at home, at work, and in the community, and it is very important. There is a huge difference between the two. Take this course to find out :)
Congratulations and kudos to these business and community leaders who invested a full day in exploring the applications and benefits of servant leadership at LHA's Beyond Leadership summit last week. Their investment in professional development will greatly impact their relationships, their companies, and the community as a whole. Thank you for your continued leadership Timothy Barley, Lisa Bieber, Sean Bolton, Carol Dudzinski, Susan Glass, Rachel Hendricks, Melissa M Miller, Joe Norris, Vishnu Patel, MBA, CPA, Tushar Patil, MaryAnne Reynolds, PCM, CDMP, Kim St. Clair, Timothy M. Vales, and Edwin Vazquez. You all rock!
