The more awareness or exposure of an event, the more risk it has. Risk extends from the event venue itself to organizations near large-scale events or national meetings. Nearby organizations are likely to see increased foot and street traffic or perhaps even unplanned protests. If that’s you, take precautions to secure your building. Tighten building access. Check that your loading dock is monitored, doors are locked, and prepare to lock down your building if necessary. Watching this video made me think – the more we continue to work on a myriad of projects from Video Production, Graphic Design, Creative Strategy etc, the more we realise each process may be different, but the creative thinking is always the same. What are we trying to say... with this shot, this angle, this lighting, this soundtrack, this typography, this icon, this brand messaging, this social post. This video is no exception. From the journey the viewer goes on from entering the venue, exploring the rooms to enjoying the live music – each shot adds a new aspect, a new element or a new feeling to build the larger experience. ...and with amazing events MGN events crafts, it not only provides a visually interesting result, but a conceptually cohesive production. #videoproduction #eventvideography #creativeprocess

I attended the annual Toward a More Competitive #Colorado (TMCC) event, hosted by Metro Denver EDC, in the company of my colleagues from our Avison Young office. High-level insights were shared from the 2024 TMCC Report and 2024 Economic Forecast for Metro Denver. Combined, both reports unpack the data highlighting Colorado's ability to compete for corporate attraction and business development. Takeaways include: 🔬 Continued expansion in aerospace, bioscience, and the healthcare industries. 🎒 Colorado maintains a highly educated workforce, yet there are opportunities to cultivate local talent and improve graduation rates. 📈 We're in the preliminary stages of an affordability crunch with home prices in the Denver MSA more than doubling between 2014 and 2022. 🏔 The vibrant lifestyle embedded in Colorado's culture has resulted in a population that surpasses national health standards.
