As year-end approaches, companies are gearing up to hire for the next quarter starting in January. Here are 5 tips that’ll help you land remote roles to start in 2025 🚀 1. Optimize your online profiles: Highlight what you do (your skills), who you do it for (target audience/clients), and past results (testimonials) on Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. 2. Network with decision makers in your industry: Connect, follow and engage with founders, recruiters and peers. 3. Create content in your niche: Share your experience and expertise on topics your audience would typically be interested in. 4. Engage meaningfully online: Contribute to conversations that relate to your niche. It helps establish your credibility. 5. Apply for Jobs: Set a weekly quota (e.g., 10 job applications) and apply to jobs that match your skills. Take it a step further by reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn with your tailored CV. Good luck and have a fantastic week! P.S: Need CV assistance? Our AI helps you create one in just 3 clicks at bamble.io

Question for everyone out there hiring or recruiting: why do job postings list opportunities as 'Remote' on the widespread post, but then include a little caveat in the application that it actually requires time in-office? My theories: 1. There's confusion in the posting software/user error so they don't list 'hybrid' 2. They are trying to get the applicant far enough into the process where they may be willing to relocate (sort of a sunk-cost fallacy idea). 3. They have an applicate quota so they just list 'remote' so they get more applicants. None of these really make sense because it feels like the hiring team will just be inundated with applications that won't go anywhere. Any thoughts? #hiring #techjobs #remotework #techrecruiting #jobsearch #careers #software

A company posts a remote job with "Easy Apply" and gets 2,000 applicants. 97% of the resumes are generic, don't meet basic requirements, or are AI-generated. The recruiter, already focused on selected candidates and other roles, doesn’t even see most applications. You apply on day three as candidate #1329 with a polished resume, but it never gets viewed. Weeks later, you receive an auto-rejection after the job is filled. This highlights the importance of targeted networking and personal branding. In today’s market, simply applying isn’t enough—you need to connect directly with the right people to get noticed.

I've interviewed at 50+ companies, sent 1600+ applications. Zero offers & bluntly, my finances are suffering. I need help finding work. I used to have 6-figures in savings and income. I am now 2-3 months away from having major financial struggles, if I'm being blunt and vulnerably honest here. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. ☝️ This is how I started a post on August 28th, 2024. It gained me 40+ interviews for part-time, full-time, and project-based work. Regarding full-time work, I've been turned down by every single company that invited me to apply. Here's the feedback I've received: 👉 You're "overqualified" 👉 We had someone further along than you 👉 This role is no longer a priority for us to fill 👉 The CMO has been let go, so we're on a hiring freeze 👉 We had someone who fit what we needed ever-so-slightly more (but refused to tell me what that means) 👉 We know we told you we had budget, but now we're telling you we never had budget this whole time and are acting surprised that you're annoyed that we misled you ... I've got some leads in the works still. However, I'm here again reaching out for any leads because gurrrrrl....this market is tough! I've been interviewing for roles in the $110k-$150k USD annual salary range, remote. My skills are: • Social Media Marketing (emphasis on LinkedIn) • Community Marketing • Influencer Marketing Management • Partnerships • Social Selling • Personal Branding • Coaching • Marketing Consulting • Copywriting • Ghostwriting • Content Marketing & Strategy • HubSpot • Salesforce • Affiliate Marketing I like B2B SaaS, education technology, sales technology, marketing technology, HR technology, and adjacent. Any leads, comments, or reposts are appreciated.

To every company currently recruiting, if your job postings are listed as 'Remote', and a candidate opens it up and it says 'Remote at first, then in office' or 'This is a hybrid role', or my favorite 'Must live within 30 miles', you're not fooling anyone... I don't know what lingo they're using nowadays within your industry bubble, but in the real world, we call this 'Lying'. If the candidate's very first impression of your company is that you're willing to be blatantly dishonest, there's no way any qualified or intelligent candidate is going to want to work at your company. Your company has 0 ethics or morals and you've proven that within the first few sentences. You've already shown them from the get go that you're willing to lie to candidates and probably are even worse to employees, so you can't be trusted. If the position isn't fully remote, then don't list it as such, be honest. #wfh #remoteopportunities #remotejob #job #remote #recruiting #recruitment #job #jobfinding #jobhunt #jobseeker #linkedIn #post #targetaudience #feed #post

As a Hiring Manager SmartRecruiters, despite LOVING using the SmartRecruiters platform (obviously), my life got a lot easier because everything I needed to see and action just got served up to me in Slack. Interview confirmations, clickthroughs to candidate profiles, Zoom links, automated reminders, job descriptions and more. This is the first phase of the evolution of SmartRecruiters connecting to work-tech platforms like Slack and Teams. This will make it faster, easier, and far more efficient for hiring teams to collaborate, making the hiring experience for all involved much more seamless. As this evolves, you will start to see more of the actions being taken INSIDE of your work-tech platforms. New user training and adoption (or new system changement training) will be easier, too. Any new hiring manager, interviewer, or anyone on the hiring team won't need as much training and adoption on SmartRecruiters because we will bring their tasks and actions right to where they do most of their communication. Say goodbye to wasted time and hello to hiring productivity! #worktech #talentacquisition #candidateepxerience #changemanagment
