Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day is dedicated to raising awareness and support for those with metastatic, also known as Stage IV, breast cancer. This means that the cancer has "metastasized," or spread to other parts of the body. Currently, there is no cure - which is why speaking up, advocating for more research, and offering support to those with the disease is so important. Landmarks all over the world are lighting up today in the metastatic breast cancer ribbon colors of green, pink, and teal.
