"How can governments foster a climate of #innovation 💡 in sustainable aviation?" Our panelists and participants at this year’s #BerlinAviationSummit2024 identified 4 key aspects: 1️⃣ Governments must increase their support for #research and #development of new technologies – it is crucial for advancing sustainable aviation. 2️⃣ Governments are called upon to create a regulatory framework that incentivizes the early use and production of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (#SAF) without excessive bureaucracy. 3️⃣ Governments need to focus on building #infrastructure for SAF and hydrogen to support sustainable aviation. 4️⃣ Last but not least, governments should provide necessary #funds to build factories and facilitate the production of SAF. For more insights listen to Michael Schoellhorn, CEO of Airbus Defence and Space, Joanna Drake, Deputy Director General, DG Research & Innovation, European Commission, Sarah Ryglewski, Minister of State & Member of Parliament, and Markus Otto, SVP Aviation Europe, DHL Express. 🎬👇 Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V.
